Well the time has come way to soon for me. Here I am a 18 year old marine wife getting ready to face my first deployment with my wonderful husband. Just things I don’t really understand and need to just rant and rage. Well I am so mad that it is so close but what the higher ups are doing makes me so much more mad. It is like this 2 months ago we got 2 weeks of predeployment leave which was great gave us time to spend together before he leaves. But here it is a week before they leave and they are being made to go to work early and being held back late as hell. Its like they don’t care about family time. Yes I understand gear inspections and all. But I don’t see why after they pass gear inspections why they have to keep going everyday and being held late. Just so upseting and wish they gave military a few days off right before they deploy too.
